After winning the FNAC New Talents Award, Quanto Pesa um Segundo?, by photographer and NARRATIVA member António Saldanha, has been published as a book.

The work presents itself as a visual reflection on how we accelerate time to such an extent that we force ourselves to consume and process experiences at great speed, making everything superficial – creating friction that ultimately wears us down, making us unable to disconnect from this circuit because we are afraid of missing something that might pass us by. It portrays a society in exhaustion, exploring the tension between the urgency of contemporary life and the need for pause.

The book was edited by NARRATIVA and released in May 2026.
